- How long is each session?
2breathe sessions can be used for two distinct functions; to fall asleep and as an exercise to train the body to stay asleep.
- I didn’t fall asleep but the app thinks I did. Why?
The 2breathe algorithm looks for certain changes in breathing pattern and awareness. It is possible that you begin to drowse or are very very relaxed and the app recognizes this as sleep.
- Why is 2breathe better than breathing slowly on my own?
The simple answer is the 2breathe does the “work” for you and does it more effectively. The key to reducing your elevated sympathetic activity is slowing down your breathing by prolonging your exhalation.
