“It seems like many of us have a habit of using our earbuds on our smartphone so we can listen to music or even watch videos before we go to sleep. While there are contraptions like the SleepPhones designed for that, you can always go with something else, and I would recommend the Soft-Tones Pillow Speaker.

It works like you see in the picture. It comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack that you plug into your smartphone or tablet, and then you can hear the sound as you lay down on your pillow. Granted, you have to be laying down on the pillow face-up, but it works. Best of all, it works without batteries.

Yes, there are some stereo speakers embedded in the ergonomically shaped memory foam, and you won’t hear the sound unless you are laying on the pillow. Well, you can kind of hear the noise if you happen to be sleeping with the person using the Soft-Tones.
